Youth Fiddle Performance

July 28 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

On July 28th 5pm, join us in the big red barn for a free, informal concert by some of the area’s most enthralling teenage fiddlers and musicians. The repertoire will range from irish jigs and galloping old-time tunes, to luxurious waltzes and more. Their joyous melodies, vibrant harmonies, and rowdy rhythms will have you stomping, clapping, and and totally inspired!

Bring a potluck dish if you plan to stay for dinner. Last minute drop-in’s are welcome! But if you’re able, please RSVP here.

The musicians will be led by local musician and educator Annika Amstutz, director of the Fiddle Orchestra of Western Mass. Annika is a cross-genre fiddler who loves adding some old-time twang to her New England tunes and lets a little Celtic flair slip into her bluegrass licks.  She believes the world would be a better place if we all made more music with our neighbors and she loves supporting musicians playing together.  In her work as a private teacher and in group instruction, Annika focuses on giving musicians the skills to be able to dive into jamming with others and sharing joy through music. annikaamstutz.com
