In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Use and your rental agreement, the rental agreement governs.
4. Payments
We accept payments via PayPal and Stripe. All transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable payment processor. We do not store your payment card information on our servers.
Deposit and payment schedules, cancellation terms, and refund policies will be specified in your rental agreement. We encourage you to review those terms carefully before confirming a booking.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are governed by your individual rental agreement. We strongly encourage event hosts to consider event cancellation insurance for significant events such as weddings or large workshops. Sweetwater Hill Farm is not responsible for losses due to cancellation caused by circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to severe weather, power outages, or other force majeure events.
6. Photography and Media Use
Sweetwater Hill Farm reserves the right to photograph and record events held on our property for use in marketing materials, social media, and our website. By booking our venue, you acknowledge this practice and agree to inform your guests accordingly.
If you or any of your guests object to being photographed, please notify us in writing prior to your event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate specific requests, but cannot guarantee that no photographs will be taken.
7. Guest Conduct and Responsibility
As the event host, you are responsible for the conduct of all guests, vendors, and other individuals present at your event. You agree to ensure that all attendees comply with Sweetwater Hill Farm’s venue rules, which will be provided in your rental agreement.
Sweetwater Hill Farm reserves the right to end any event where guests or hosts are engaging in conduct that is disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of the rental agreement or applicable law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sweetwater Hill Farm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or venue, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of data.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of our website shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in connection with the event giving rise to the claim.
